Brandon Hunter

I’m a 24-year-old entrepreneur and professional chemist born and raised in the greater Saint Louis Area. I am a 2020 graduate of Purdue University with two degrees in Biochemistry and Nutrition Sciences. Since graduating at the start of the pandemic, I have spent much of my time working in the food and pharmaceutical quality and safety sectors.

My degrees in Biochemistry and Nutrition Sciences have cultivated my skills, experiences, and professional abilities in the vast areas encompassing human health spanning from learning and understanding how the products we consume and process are cultivated, to understanding how different food and drug products affect the metabolic processes of the body from the topical to the molecular level.

I'm a professional scientist and entrepreneur. I am a Purdue University Alum with degrees in Biochemistry and Nutrition Sciences. Most of my work experience has been in the quality and safety sectors focusing on areas of the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

However, The OG’s products are specifically designed to fulfill the needs many Black consumers struggle to have met by the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries without adverse side effects. We evoke a sense of Black consumer recognition through simple, yet culturally identifiable product packaging. Our focus is to formulate premium body care products that nourish and repair the body without the use of harmful or toxic ingredients.
